Broken Needles

My great sewing journey has officially began. At the beginning of the week, I made a great decision to buy a pattern and get the old sewing machine that was lying around my parents’ house. I really wanted to learn how to make my own dresses because I have a lot of ideas and it would be great to know how to use a sewing machine. It took me about three days to actually learn how the sewing machine (probably from the early 1930′s or 40′s) worked…and in trying to figure it out I broke the needle.. Believe me i was extremely frustrated throughout this whole ordeal…BUT FINALLY last night I actually began sewing my dress. It isn’t quite finished yet, but I am hoping I can get it done tonight.
Now, don’t have any high expectations for this.. It is my very first one. BUUTTT let’s hope for the best. !
